About Carly Remington

As a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC), I work with children, teens, adults, and couples to support emotional healing, self-awareness, and secure connection. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their inner experiences and move toward meaningful change.

My approach is grounded in the belief that our emotional worlds shape how we relate to ourselves and others. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and TraumaPlay®-informed techniques, integrating attachment-based, trauma-informed practices to meet each client’s unique needs. Whether I’m working with a child processing big emotions through play, or an adult navigating relationship patterns, I aim to support clients in building resilience, self-compassion, and deeper emotional connection.

I am committed to continuous learning and applying the latest research in trauma, attachment, and emotional development to my work. I bring dedicated enthusiasm, curiosity, and compassion to every therapeutic relationship.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy going on long walks, gardening, reading, and spending time with friends and family. It’s deeply meaningful to me to walk alongside clients as they navigate healing and growth, offering support throughout the process.
